Default 15g vs t3 .48/.42

Ok i search the whole web trying to find some info.
The best info i got was here in HT
Anyway I am building a turbo setup for a jdm d15b.
I read here in HT that the greddy 15g is similar to the Garrett .48/.42 aka gt45.
This is the same size turbo that comes on most saabs.
I am looking for solid 180whp.

Q. Is the GT45 that similar to the greddy 15g.
thanks HT

If i'm thinking straight, the 15g is the greddy turbo... My friend is running it on his D15b7, and i'm running a .48 t3 on my d16z6. His turbo spools faster and has a more 'linear' power band, we are both at 10 psi. Neither turbo dies off at redline at this boost level. My t3 spools about 1k rpms later, but pulls harder at the same boost. The t3 has so much more to give. I like it.
