where do i run the lines from the wg? post pics if you have them.

 

Run the Vac source to the lower/side WG port, if your using the WG as is (no EBC).

 

do i run it to the nipple on the turbo on the compressor housing?

 

Top is for boost controller whether manual or electronic

Side/Bottom is vacuum.

theres 2 ways to do this.

1. IF USING A BOOST CONTROLLER: hook the side port to the turbo outlet and the boost guauge to the MANIFOLD so you can adjust the boost.

2. If NOT using a boost controller, hook the side port to a MANIFOLD source.

 

some one told me to hook my boost guage to the fpr hose. and run the side nipple on the tial wg to the turbo. i dont have my boost controller yet but will have one in a month or 2. does this sound right?

You will want a vac/boost (intake manifold) source. Something after the throttle body. You could tee into the brake booster source or tap strait from the intake manifold. I would not use the fpr line, it would be alittle small for the WG.

Taking the signal from the turbo compressor will not show the pressure drop across the intercooler and charge piping

 

i am running the boost guage to the fpr line not the wg is that right? also what would be the best vac source for the wg? where on the intake mani?

Anywhere on the intake manifold or tee into the brake booster line.

 

can i run all to the same vac source for the wg, bov and boost guage?

 

if its a STRONG signal, ie, the brake booster...
