Would it be OK to put an exhaust cut out before the first O2 sensor off the down-pipe? Or would I need to re-mount the O2 sensor before the cutout. I dont really have any room to mount the cutout anywhere else. I plan to use it at the track, I imagine I would get a "code" if I had the cutout open under normal driving..

Any help would be great..

I think your setup is okay as long as your car is in open loop (WOT) when the e-cut is open. When you are at open loop (WOT), the factory ecu doesn't need the 02 sensor feedback. However, if you cruise with the e-cut open, your (factory) ecu can not detect the correct a/f, and it will throw a code and your car will run like crap.

 

Thanks, what about the Greddy Blue BOx.. how does the blue box know when to add fuel. WOuld this set up effect the blue box under WOT (open loop)??

If anything does anyone know if I will have any issues with placing the cutout before the O2 sensor?
