turboex

Ok i have a new sc61 and a friend told me that precision had a problem with a few of them going bad and eating up the blades or housing, so i checked my new one. This unit i have had for 2 days i got it friday and it has not been installed. Now unlike my s13 turbo or my hks one, on the sc61 if i spin the wheel by hand it sounds as if its hitting inside. There are a few scrapes where the blades have cam in contact with the cover. But yet it spins fine. Precision say i might just be hearing things like a new bearing or something. On my stock nissan turbo even if i press on the shaft as if to check the up and down movment the wheel will not touch the sides or the compressor at all. Where with the sc61 if i even put a finger of pressure on it the wheel will stop. Got any ideas guess? are they all like this? If its need to be looked at with will go back tuesday for a once over by them, thanks again
