Integras have 6 1/2 inch speakers all around,

but I'm curious has anyone done this and putted 6x9's in the back? and also, if so, is there an adapter where i can fit these speakers in?

Because, I looks in the back and im sure there is LOTS of room to fit a 6x9 in, easy.

Any feedback will be nice. THanks.

 

why would you want to?

 

i have 6x9s in the back of my accord (they also have 6.5's all around). i put some 6x9's into some enclosures and my god....ive never heard 6x9s sound so clean and hit so hard before. i suggest if you wanna go the 6x9 route do what i did. box them up!

 

it's very possible, you'd just have to do some cutting with an airsaw for clearance for the magnet

 

I guess, i would want to do this because, I have a set of 6x9 laying around and its just sitting there. Mind as well?

Wellz, seems to me these 6x9 hit pretty hard and clean. Its the Alpine typeS speakers. ^_~

I'm sure theres alot of room, i just need to mod it somehow to fit nicely and clean. -

Has anyone done this before? Pics? On an integra. I dont want to box them up, because i want to hide them instead of put more boxes and whatnot into my car. -

 

those are what i have boxed...type s's...i figure you might as well jus somehow cut the holes for the 6.5s a lil bigger and drill some holes to spec of the 6x9's. ghetto rig those mothers up!
