Default Speaker opinions

I have two audiobahn subs and 2000watt amp way more bass than i need. I took it out because it weighs the car down quite a bit. The subs are pretty heavy. What door speakers should i get. What sizes can i fit, it looks like the front are 6 1/2 or 6 3/4 im not sure. I want something high end but under the 300$ price range each pair ex. front 300 back 300. Im thinking of component speakers i looked at crutchfield and still have NO IDEA i guess i'll call them tommarow.
I know there is an AUDIO forum but no one looks here and i kinda have a specific car question so yeah, Thanks

man gonna ask all these wierd questions I sugest you leave them all on one post...but front and rear are 6 1/2....these are what I went with Infinity Kappa 63.7i 6 1/2 and no of my friends systems come close to how clean my **** sounds but I will say the front speakers wont fit right have to do lil custom work cause if you put them in normal they will hit the window but back be find as long as you have the speaker brackets.

they might be alittle cheap, but I put kenwood speakers in my doors they are the only speaker that I know of that actually have a special lip and has the factory 3 holes drilled for the honda speaker bucket and they dont hit the glass. I mounted 2 kenwood speakers and removed the tweeters from a wrecked acura integra and wired those in my door panels. my friends cant believe how good it sounds

wow, you've never heard of cerwin vega. Don't know if they're top of the line or not but they're known for having high sensitivity which means they don't need much power from the amp.
a speaker with 93 sensitivity requires 1/2 the power of a speaker that has a sensitivity of 90 to acheive the same spl.

I have Polk db650 in each hole in my rex. They have good sensitivity, which means they don't need an amp to get loud and clean. They have the correct screw placements for the bracket, and are pretty affordable.

I think retail is about $100 a pair...

i got a kenwood 200watt deck and jvc 150 watt 6.5inch speakers. they bump harder than youd think. and treble is great too. personally i dont like music crazy loud when i drive. so this setup suits me just fine.
