Default Easy Integra Audio/Speaker Question

What size are the speakers in a G3 Integra?

I would like to replace the speakers since I have a new head unit and it sounds better.

I don't want a "system" I just want new speakers since the car is a 95, I just need to know what size the speakers are.

You can check at crutchfield.com Bwe sure to check depth and speaker protrusion. I believe that I had some problems getting speakers that would fit the openings. (pair of 6.5 from last car wouldn't fit)

they're suppose to be 6.5's all around, but I had trouble installing mine. had to hack up the stock plastic mounting basket to make it fit.

you say u dont' want a "system" now... but later you're gonna want at least a sub. you just don't get enough bass from 6.5's.

stock speakers are 5 1/4 for the doors and 6 1/2 for the rears, you can get some 6 1/2 speakers to fit in the doors with some modification, lige someone else said your best bet is to check crutchfield, btw they will also give you plugs to go into your stock harnesses if you dont want to hack away at them, good luck

I put 6.5 in both front and rear speaker spots. Good luck getting to the rears. I have to take out the entire plastic side panel just to get to the speakers.

I have Cerwin Vega 6.5's in the front, none in the rear for weight savings.
