If you are going to the dyno to get say hondata installed and tuned, how do you not boost? On an internal gate system you can rig the gate open, but what about with a tial gate? Don't want to undue the charge pipes and overspin the turbo. what do you do? Thanks.

 

can't you drive without boosting? Unless you have a very responsive turbo or nice hilly drives, you should be fine.

You are aware that the gas pedal (throttle) is a variable position device, which has more than on and off?

Just drive like your grandmother.

 

you can take out the spring inside the wastegate, then you will not see any boost.

uh, i've driven for days without hitting boost, hills or not. as long as your foot doesnt weigh 10lbs and you select ur gears properly you will be fine. and keep your eye on the boost/vac gauge if your not used to driving easy
