I think there needs to be an official motor comparison thread sticky at the top. Do some searching and you will find all the answers.
Go with the b18c1 and use the money you save for mods and stuff.

Depends what your plans are. Do you want to boost? Do you plan on building N/A? Do plan on doing just bolt ons? B18C for boost, B18C if you plan on buiding the engine, B18C5 if plan on just doing bolt ons.

There were many more too. Do a search because this topic has been covered 10000000 times.
Or just go with the b18c1 and get it over with.

I recently saved up $5000 to put a B18C5 in my 98 EK hb. After saving up that much money and looking at my car that would still have 140,000 miles on the body and paint and suspension, I've decided to use that money to buy what I was trying to build. So the search begins for a low mileage ITR. Just my 2 cents.
Get a k series engine, that is going to be the new b series. There are going to be more and more mods for a k and it has the highest hp numbers stock. Thats what i'm saving my money for. I think they cost 6000 i'm not sure.
