Theres no replacement for the displacement. Get the B18! I really can't stand B16's.

this has been covered alot. most people will say b18. i would agree. i have a b16 and as everyone knows it lacks torque. when you pay the 900 more for "ten more hp", your also paying for much needed tq and options to build up the motor. the b16 is hard to make all motor power but is still fast in a hatch. but a b18 with the same mods will always win.

Yea this question has been debated about a million times. GSR engine hands down.

Just puts out more power/ boost ready in the future/ good transmission/ more displacement/ and highly upgradeable/

I love the b16, had the b16, but the b18c is just a better choice if you HAVE the extra money.

B18C hands down. You'll understand your mistake after you install a B16.

get what u want , youll be happier when its paid for. its true that peopel dont get h22 because nobody has really seen the h22 perform liek the b18? why woudnt it, it has more power. i know there are other factors.

I'd get a B16 motor then save for a GSR block. The B16 has a better geared tranny.
