b17 head fit on gsr block?

Default b17 head fit on gsr block?

well i am pretty sure it fits but i am asking this question for a friend, Will the b17 head bolt right up to a gsr block w/o any problems. thanks alot, the quicker the response the better

Yes, it's a PR3 head (B16) so it will work, you will need the GSR head bolts though.

thanks, thats all i needed to know, its for ls vtec and it will work just teh same as a gsr head or b16 head right?

Technically it would be a GSR head on a GSR block
But yeah you will have to do the same to the B17 head for LS/VTEC that you would do to any B16/B18 head to make it work.

I thought you only needed gsr head bolts, gsr timing belt, and water pump and you should be set.
Am i missing something??

You meen non technically speaking

tech= pr3 head vs p72, b18c1/b17a/b16X...the term GSR to means nothing but a non-technical term used for trim levels.

Yeah and that's what I was referring to. The car is a GSR, the other car is a GSR. One head is from a GSR, the other block is from a GSR.... and so forth. "Technical" doesn't have to mean numbers wise ***. And to show how serious I was, I even threw in the " ".
