keep in mind i just took the head off cause i saw the diff between heights and i was like somethings gotta be wrong. Good thing i didnt do what id normally do and just blow it off instead of ask whats wrong.

 

your going to need a couple of these

 

did the person you bought the motor from say everything was ok with the motor?

 

Heights in what?

 

heights in companion cylinders....1&4 cylinders are companions of each other.....when one is on the top of the exhaust stroke the other is on the top of the compression stroke

 

i took apart my GSR (spare) & found the same thing

i thought it would have cracked walls so i was actually happy

but it doesn't alter the price of the buildup at all though

i dunno it seems like its one thing after another... i was going to do stock LS till i saw this.

pistons/rods/bearings/studs/rings

prolly going to do wiseco pistons/eagle rods 9.0:1/ACL bearings/ARP studs/total seal rings (maybe)

should be a beast once the turbos in and its all tuned

i guess the reason why it was bent is narrowed down to a little water got into the motor and bent the rod so miniscuoley that it wasnt hardly noticeable until i pulled the head off.
