Don't completely understand your question.
Are you trying to dial in your timing? I.E set it at the rite point (16 degree's btdc) or adjust your ignition timing?
oh.. i think i understand your question now (third time i wrote up a response and then erased it)....without the timing mark (pointer) your **** out of luck, as far as i know....
