Default ctr pistons installed but number 4 cyl. is not burning fuel.

As topic says.
What causes it? I do have spark and #4 piping is warm.
Thanks.

Sounds like you might have a bad or disconnected injector.

I pulled #4 wire, the engine idles the same with or without.
I checked the plug and found out that gas is all over the plug.
When I drive around my neighbor, the engine makes loud knocking noise 1k - 4k rpm. My car drives ok on highway. I did not do the comp. test and leakdown test. No tools around. Thanks.

Ouch!

A compression tester can be had for quite cheap.

No, I should have replaced them all. I was lazy going to Acura dealer lately.

Wow, what a great addition to this thread. Very helpful.

Chris - who would check the compression and leakdown also.

Might be a long shut but also recheck #4 spark plug gap. When you say you have spark, did you check individual pistons or are you assuming you have a spark at #4 piston.
