I just found out you need to use new snap rings on the end of the axles that go into the tranny and you need to use new cotter pins on the castle nuts. What extra little things like these need to be replaced when swapping a b18 into an EK? I want to be prepared as much as possible when i do the swap.

List:
cotter pins
snap rings
timing belt
water pump
spark plugs and wires
rotor
i think new bolts for the engine and tranny mounts. i recall it saying replace those in my helms manual for my civic.
axle nuts
electrical connections

anything else?

Don't forget fluids and possibly new clutch.

 

Radiator hoses and clamps, possible fuel line depending on what model you have now.

 

that was a great question to ask,, i hope you get many replys back! u mite need nuts and **** just case u strip em

 

dont forget food and beer!! pins to connect wires to the ecu and wires, connectors or a soldering gun.

any other bolt, nuts, rings, gaskets, etc....?

 

Distributor cap, brakleen (LOTS), feeler gauges, anti-seize, extra vacuum line, pcv valve, oil filter. Hell if it were me I would change all belts as well including timing. Do whatever is going to be a bitch once the motor is in the car.
