Default Clocking turbo, no compressor bolts...

I am wondering how to clock a turbo with no bolts on the compressor side. There are 4 bolts on the turbine side. It is a T-25 Garret. Not a DSM turbo. The other problem is, after clocking the turbo so that the compressor outlet faces down, the wastegate will not work as it was. Can I redrill holes onto the compressor to mount the wastegate? Thanks for any help you can provide me with.

i had the same problem with my td04. i was ghetto and actually zip tied it to the a/c line going down, it actually stayed put and worked well. you could also JB weld it onto the compressor, or drill some shallow holes onto the compressor.

The wastegate problem is solved. One of those suggestions will be used. or Abaz' spring technique. The other problem is when I finally do rotate the turbine, the oil lines won't line up properly... Is there any way to clock the compressor side of this wacky small turbo? There has to be a way, It has to be put together somehow...

There is a snap ring on the back of the compressor housing, you need big snap ring pliers and a friend. Just take off the compressor housing. Once you figure your positions, mark, drill and tap your wastgate holes. Be sure to clean the housing before reassembly. Use prematex thread sealer on the bolts.
