Sorry ... but i need help with (ya) the VAFC hack
hey .. i have a d16a6 now.. on 5-6 psi.. and i have a fmu and a missing link.. I want to take these out becuase i have 450 dsm injectors and a vafc.. now i need to know what i should do .. keep the fmu with the 450's or what.. can someone shot me some info on the vafc hack .. i also have a polished head and a turbo cam.. so.... One more problem..now i have vac at -14 to -17.. should be at 20 right

Just did mine this past weekend, works like a champ. Here's the link on the how to: VAFC HACK
BTW:unless you plan on reusing the Missing Link and FMU- just sell em.

i'm using the vafc hack for a week now and it works great
i only have 1 problem with it, when u let off the gas pedal then goto push it back down the car jerks. anyone know how to fix that?

Hey all.. i did the Hack now.. and my car idles.. but..that is it... i have tried everything .. with and without a missing link.. fuel press. is at 35, 40 WOT.
and when i pull the 0-1k to -40... it doesnt know what to do .. and will not let me rev it . can someone fill me in on what i might be doing wrong. because i think i have tried everything.. and i cant get my car to pull at all... where should the distrubtor be set at.. and where would have have the cam at.. stock..?

What do you mean,
You installed the 450's, right?
Removed you Missing Link/check valves and FMU?
You shouldn't have messed with your distributor or cams...
Double check your vacuum lines
.. and i cant get my car to pull at all...

there isnt much to mess with.. and i had to do it.. i put a crane stage #2 turbo cam in ... and i found out that i have 390 injectors.. i bout the wrong ones
