Help on a turbo charger please!
I just recieved my t3/t4 for the custom turbo I'm doing, but the outlet of the compressor is facing the block. Can I disassemble the turbo and rotate the housing so that the outlet faces downward? Also, should the oil return be facing up or down? Thank you.

You need to "clock" the turbo, just unbolt it and move to the postion you need. The return line should ALWAYS be facing down, it uses gravity to drian.

to be more specific you need to loosen (dont remove) the 6 bolts on the backside of the compressor housing. Once you've loosened the 6 bolts the compressor housing should be able to rotate. Once it's in the right position just remember to tighten the 6 bolts back up.

Just makes sure you tighten them good... I saw someonepansy them tight, and boy that was a mes when he drove it. The center section fell out and shattered the compressor blades. I just couldn't stop laughing.
