for those of you who converted an internal WG turbo to an external...
can i just take off the internal WG and plug the leftover holes on the compressor with the bolts that were holding it on? (read that over a few times, it shuld make sense )
also, the vacuum line coming off of the turbo, what do i plug it with?
and one last general question, how do i spin the turbo so that the compressor outlet faces straight down? (right now if it was on the car, it would be pointing at the oil pan)
thanks!

Yea, just take off the stuff and put the bolts back on. I put a vaccuum cap on one of the nipples and connected the other to the external wastegate. To loosen the compressor outlet, loosen the 1/2" bolts on the back side of the commpressor and turn the compressor housing.
