engine cleaner
use simple green. open your hood and cover your distributor, fuse box, intake (and anything electrical). spray a generous amount of simple green over the entire engine bay. spray more on the really dirty areas. if you need to, use a soft brush or towel to rub the stained areas. then hose down with water (avoid spraying with high pressure near the areas you covered). after that, start the car and let the heat evaporate the water. simple green!

go to autozone.. get some stuff called "Foamy Engine Brite" cover your electrical stuff.. spray the foam on EVERYTHING.. wait about 10-15 mins.. MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS COOL.. then just rinse with the hose..u dont even need high pressure. the dirt and grease will just slide off..
here is an example..
Before
After
the engine bay is all cluttered, but you can tell there is a big difference in cleanliness.. thats just Foamy Engine Brite and a high pressure washer..
