Default engine clean up

what do you guys use to clean up your engine bay?
im getting another teg like tomorrow(i totaled mine but it wasnt my fault) and everything is clean but the engine bay. give me some advice so i can bling my engine bay.

Simple Green, plastic bags to cover electrical, toothbrush, a pressurewasher (I love that damn thing). And it'll be purdy.

yeah, a hose...doesnt work AS good, but its safer anyways...Watch those electic compnents especially the distributor and make sure you dont get water down the spark plug holes, you take a chance when doing this btw...not a big one, but there is a chance that you can f up your car...I have seen it happen before, but I did it once and came out ok...just be carful!

Or let a detailing shop do it and pay for it if they mess it up

simple green will work.. i also used orange clean one time, which was OK . I guess you could try some of that degreaser @ the auto store. And damn, that pressure washer is expensive. I bet it works tho, not like those cheap 80$ walmart ones that make ur spray weaker, but just come out thin and make it look pressurized. \;

for simple green and orange clean, do you just scrub the hell out and wash it off with water? this is avable at advance or auto zone?

"simple green: Automotive" is available at most auto parts stores including autozone.
