so heres my attempt to figure out if my drain line will be okay or not
and if anyone need help figuring out how to attack “how do i setup my oil return line”
first thanks to txdragon a while back recommended me this hose
gates 19b multi purpose red hose
so find your turbo
figure out what size drain plug thread pitch
for example mine is m8x1.25
figure out what inner diameter for return hose you want to use in my case i am going 5/8
then attack the angle on your return fitting at the oil pan
m8x1.25 turbo to 5/8 barb fitting
buy 5/8 inner diameter red gates 19b hose
so 1/2npt to 5/8 barb fitting 45 degree ( this is oil pan fitting)
ultimately you want the last pic below as thats the smartest route which i SHOULD do. but if the current way works once the m8x1.25 to 5/8 barb fitting comes in the mail then i will keep it otherwise ^^
heres my angle im fighting using a moroso oil pan and look how low turbo drain mount is sitting (using magnet as a mental guide) heres another pic of what in fighting this is what u REALLY WANT AS A DRAIN PLUG LOCATION on oil pan if i cant figure out how to attack this problem i will switch to a stock ls oil pan. and copy this exact picture of the drain location fitting on the oil pan. which you all who needs help “should follow this perfect fitment drain”
i will post more pics once i actually get the fitting m8x1.25 to 5/8 barb fitting
