92-00 eg b18b swap no spark
Obd2 b18b swapped my eg hatch the motor is the jdm kind not USDM. when I first tried it, it sounded terrible running on like 2 or 3 cylinders after few more tries it lost spark completely just cranks now. Fuel is fine map and tps are hooked up right, it’s a 96-01 Integra ls harness and an obd1 p75 ecu is running it. Figured my problems have to do with that setup but I don’t know Honda’s that well so any help is appreciated!
Ok you saying the CEL does not light when you just turn the key to "on"? If the CEL stays on after prime(not cranking but just with key on then you have an ecu problem-might be missing a power or ground to it or the ecu went bad-- the main relay provides some power the ecu so check your powers and grounds to ecu its been a while that I checked but its like 4 powers and 2 grounds something like that. You have to research or get a schematic. The sequence goes : turns key to on-- CEL lights (you hear fuel pump prime) after about 8 or 10 seconds the CEL is suppose to go out--indicating all inputs to ecu needed to crank and possibly start are there. You turn key from on to "start"/crank.

alright I’ll mess with the ecu this afternoon. So your thinking it’s probably an ecu issue and yes check engine light stayed on after 10seconds or could there be a harness issue? Because the car was running very rough then it lost spark so on my swap will the obd2 usdm harness run the b18b in an obd1 car like that, with a functioning ecu?
Post a picture of what IS and ISN'T plugged in on the passenger side of the engine harness where it meets the chassis harness on the Right side shock tower. Also, try another ECU... anything OBD-1 from a Civic or Integra to see if the ECU is the problem. I asked you for any codes stored days ago and you haven't posted any reply yet.

I would test the coil and igniter if you are not getting spark, from what I understand the OBD 2 teg harness should plug right into the 92-95 without issue, I don't remember if you had to move any pins or not
also make sure all your grounds are good
