Default iacv options

looking at iacv options since they apparently wear out and i'm at
372k miles. car drives fine when warm but bogs when cold.
got a laundry list of stuff to check. tps was off a bit. new denso ox sensor
is on the way. throttle clean, valve adjust, map swap, timing check, pcv replace are next. airtex/wells and standard motor are the only rockauto iacv options. $200 or so. 8( .no iacv option at car-part. honda part discontinued. suggestions welcome.

Its possible the ECT sensor is bad.

You could always get a Hondata EMS or barrow someone's and upload a stock map and through the Smanager control the IACV very easily. Raise or drop the IACV duty and see if it works if no change happens instantly you need a new one. Im gonna say the IACV has nothing to do with your issue. Sounds like a temp issue. heres a break down on how to adjust the IACV from Hondata I shared with another member,

What year iacv do you need? I have a low mileage OEM OBD1 IACV I'll give to you. I don't believe the OBD2 ones are discontinued but either way, used OEM ones from eBay are the way to go. I got my last one used off of eBay for $40 shipped and it works perfectly. You just have to do a little research and make sure you're getting the correct one. I also have a perfectly working ECT sensor I'll let you have if you want it. It has low mileage on it and I replaced it with a new one thinking that was the problem but it turned out it wasn't.

thanks for the input guys.
yeah i did think about the ect but i changed that not too long ago.
i revisited the tps and it had drifted back out of spec due to not enough torque on the bolts.
this time i put a cheater bar on the allen wrench to tighten the sh*t out of it lol.
runs w/o any major issues now.
i do have some mild idle issues that may be iacv related.
i'd need the gs-r version that look like this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Standard-Mo...ry!65109!US!-1

if that's the unit you have jdmark1 i'd be willing to send some cash via paypal, thanks much for the offer.
i am giving away extra parts over at team integra, see this thread:

Damn TPS sensor hu! well good you figured it out, I hate calibrating them, Im using small M8 bolts on mine. With Hondata its so freaking easy to calibrate the TPS by the way that is not even funny lol

Dang, no I have the OBD1 LS iacv. But, it looks like amayama may still have it brand new in stock. Check out this link here - https://www.amayama.com/en/part/honda/36450p72005

That are very reputable. They have parts that are discontinued here in the US because they're a parts distributor based out of Japan.

Why not add thread locker to the tps bolts?

thread lock is a good idea but there's no substitute for massive brutal torque.
that sucker aint going anywhere now.

oh yeah amayama i was looking at them for a denso speed sensor.
they had it for about $80 less than most of the usa folks who want about $200 yikes.
luckily figured out what i needed was mostly a good shot of dielectric grease.
the sensor and plug also like to degrade and fall apart when removed.
that is a great price for a stealership iacv.
thanks again for the offer and the tip jdmark1 , hopefully someone will get
your iacv bargain.

yes bolts are the best option so you can really crank them down.
not that hard to calibrate when you can get the probes into a hands free mode.
i used a safety pin into the red wire socket so i could stick the probe into the latch thing. will look into hondata when i have extra $$$ but for now it still drives like a dream lol.
