Default idle problems.. err yea.

ok my car idles fine the other day, two days later i start it up.. its idling at 3,000 rpms... uhhh weird huh?

only thing i can think of is i messed up the MAP sensor when spraying carb cleaner through the intake pipe... is the sensor part of the throttle body?

****** ****. more money i dont have to fix this damn car!

Is it idling at 3k constant? Or does it blip at all?
Check your vacuum lines first off. Map is not in the intake it's on the firewall. But doesn't mean it isn't messed up.

i seriously doubt it would be your pcv valve,
i've never heard of a pcv valve causing those kind
of idle problems.

yea it wasnt anything, just my own fault.. i was tightening up(taking out slack) the throttle cable, and took a LITTLE bit to much out of it ahaha...

the reason i thought it was the pcv valve maybe was because when i was running seafoam through a vacuum source, i tried the pcv valve, and when i disconnected the hose the idle shot up really high... i ended up using the brake booster but thats why i was thinkin pcv...
