Just replaced clutch, car won't go into gear + reverse grind?
1990 Honda Hatch 4 SPD - Replaced the pilot bearing, throw bearing, clutch plate, flywheel, pressure plate, and new trans fluid. Pretty sure I did everything right, although it was my first time. Got the car to start up just fine, but I can't go into gear. Even worse, when I try to go into reverse, the transmission starts grinding. Pretty much the same exact thing as how my car acted before I even replaced the clutch. Honestly the only difference is how the clutch pedal feels, when it worked, it was really easy to push in, then when it broke, it was real tough, and now it's like in the middle. Clutch and pressure plate are definitely 100% installed correctly, since there was only 1 way it could go in. Really don't want to have to take it apart again, took me around 30 hours to do everything...
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm glad you were the first to post. I did exactly what you said and move the pedal up about 1 inch or so. Goes into gear perfectly now, and I'm able to drive around. Gonna test it a little bit more to make sure nothing is messed up. Thanks alot for the help man.
Reviving an old one here, just did new clutch in my 91 CRX Si, anyone have access to the manual? Reverse is tough to find after doing the new clutch
