92 civic hatch - clunking sound when pressing on clutch pedal?
I just recently replaced my flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing, etc. on my 92 civic hatch. Afterwards, whenever I press on the clutch pedal I feel an almost grinding like feeling in the pedal. Also, it makes a clunking sound that I managed to get on video.
I can only think that maybe it is from the throwout bearing hitting the pressure plate but I can't be sure.
Also, my clutch pedal now occasionally sticks when coming back up at the halfway point. And I've noticed that even after bleeding the lines until clear fluid came out, 2 days later it is now filled with some kind of black gunk. I can attach a pic later if anyone wants to see.
So, anybody know what is going on here?

Does it drive OK? Did you grease the pivot points on the clutch lever (where it touches the throwout bearing, where it touches the slave cylinder, and most important, the pivot ball inside the clutch housing). Clutch levers also have been known to crack at the pivot ball point, this eventually causes inability to disengage.

What replacement clutch did you install?
Did you follow the service manual procedure?
Installed a regular OEM exedy clutch kit. Did not replace anything not on the list. I supposed the etc. was very unnecessary. I did have to replace other parts like my axel shaft, but thats not pertaining to this.
Will do next weekend. Gonna replace clutch master and slave cylinder and try to peer in through the clutch fork hole. If I can't spot a problem then I'll just drop it.
