Noise after clutch replacement
1998 honda civic DX 5 speed manual. I replaced the clutch and pressure plate and throwout bearing this weekend. i drove it home 30 miles with no noise. drove it this morning and it grinds sounds like brakes grinding. it only makes the noise when the it is in gear foot off clutch pedal and coasting.

Re: Noise after clutch replacement
I did not replace the pilot bearing. Did not know you can adjust the pedal. Also confirmed on the way home when in neutral and coasting foot not on the clutch pedal there is not noise.

Re: Noise after clutch replacement
Almost sounds like the pressure plate is allowing the clutch to still drag/grab while pedal is being pressed. Adjusting the pedal deceased or increase pressure to clutch slave cyclinder.
