turbo oil drain parallel with ground?

Default turbo oil drain parallel with ground?

my drain isn't facing down but it is parallel with the ground. will it still drain as long as i put the oil pan fitting lower than it?

Do you mean the drain connection right out of the turbo? If so, then no it will not work. Corky Bell mentions this drain must be within something like 30 degrees to perpendicular to the ground. In otherwords, as humanly close to straight down as possible.
