Its up high enough, just fill to the stock 4 quarts. When the engine is running most of the oil will not be in the pan anyway.

if the oil starts to back up into the turbo you'll be able to see the smoke coming from your exhaust.

but when i have the car on the ground, and the return line disconected from the oil pan, when ever i pour all 4 quarts of oil in it starts to leak out from the fitting on the oil pan, when it all leaks out, it only shows halfway on the dipstick, is halfway enough oil to have in the car

SOHCD16y8 just gave you the answer in his post above

When the motors running, there will be alot less than 4 qrts in the pan. It might back up in the oil return a little when the car is off, but that doesnt really matter.

Yea, as long as the fitting is up high enough you will be fine.

Just put it as high as you can on the oil pan and call it a day. No need to worry over it.

Your trying to test your oil feed and return before hooking it up to the pan right and you are worried about not having enough oil in the engine to perform the test quickly. Well my solution is put a simple plug on the fitting on the pan so that you don't lose the oil before you start the car then start it make sure oil comes out the return. Shut off the car unplug the fitting on the oil pan and attach your return line. Your placement of the oil pan fitting is fine and once you are assured your feed line is working you are good to go.
