Default GSC T1 VTEC RPM

Just wondering for those here running GSC T1 what is your VTEC rpm engagement ?

Where ever your tuner and engine likes it. There isn't on specific setting

This. If you really want to know where to set your cross, though, set it to 1000 RPM (basically always on), do a pull on the dyno, then set it to 10000 (basically always off) and do a pull. Where the HP lines cross between the two graphs, that's where you want to set your VTEC engagement.

i know there isn't any specific setting im just curious, The problem is. there is no dyno here so everything is street tuned, i left it at 6000 the last time i tuned the car i just ran out of time and weather so i decided to ask what others where doing,

Tune to mbt on low cam, the switch to high.

Where are you located?

In a pinch, the "Virtual Dyno" software can help with things like what you're looking to do. Don't put any faith in the numbers it spits out, but it does give you a curve to work with.

For mine I just turned off vtec did a pass and made it come on where the torque started leveling off. My initial guess of 4500 was spot on.

location is Iceland :D

i will give virtual dyno a test :D thanks, hopefully it can open logs from VEMS with out to much hassle :D
