sup all! im new to the site. never heard of this site till a friend told me about it. so my problem is i found a little bit of oil on the tip of the bov. i checked the throttle body and theres no oil there, well yet. its only about 4 months new and i usually dont run it too hard. its a drag kit i bought off ebay. i believe it the turbine seal thats leaking oil. what are all your thoughts???

 

i think that you are correct, go get it rebuilt before it gets to bad.

I think you're right. Take the lower i/c piping off and see if you have oil in there, if you do then most likely your seal is bad. Are you puffing any smoke out of your exhaust? If so what color? Remember white smoke is bad..How old is the kit?

 

it happens frequently re seal the turbo and use lucas oil stabilizer it seems to help the seals not break down

 

do you guys think i can buy another seal and do it myself?? my friend helped me do a search and found the seal but i havent taken it apart and looked at it. where can i get lucas oil stabilizer from? thanx for the replies!!!

yeah go too turbochargers.com they sell new seals and stuff, most american car shops sell lucas and part stores sometimes do. it helps everywhere by helping your engines oil maintain a consistent viscosity, its good stuff.
