Default What are these wires for???

I took a look around my engine today and noticed some unplugged wires. Any idea what these are for? Thanks

Oh, and where is the knock sensor located at by the way?

Manifold air temp and emmisions purge solenoid. Could also be the air intake solenoid, can't tell for sure from the pic.
The knock sensor is behind the block (firewall side) up way high near the deck where the head meets the block. One wire connector (red) most of the time.

Top 2 are two different styles of the same sensor. Iat. Use either or. The one your holding goes into the intake pipe

Intake air temp a nd purge solenoid. It would have helped if you mentioned that you have a swapped car. Reason being why your harness doesnt plug in. Its sn ek with a b18c1 swap.

Looks like you're in Cali? OBD1 motor into an OBD2 car with sensors not hooked up. Good luck.

I'm sad the new fits are beginning to look more and more like mini-vans.
Otherwise, was this car smogged already?

Its a gsr in an ek (ek has iat located on on factory intake pipe instead of manifold).
Easy fix is to drill a hole in the pipe and a properly sized sized grommet
