Gm 3 bar map sensor plz help quick!!
Hello
I'm switching my map sensor from a no name to gm 3bar. The tube on bottom on the sensor does not go in the throttle body opening for it. Tried to search up if anyone else had similar issue but no luck. Could this be manufacturer defect?

can you be more specific? i am not following. can you take a pic of what you are talking about.
most 3 bar sensors so not bolt onto the TB. you run a separate vac line to it.

You have to get the accompanying "pigtail" to wire it in. You must block the original location of the stock map sensor so no air gets to it. swap the three wires into the oem Map sensor wires on the wiring harness. It won't do any good until you have the management ready to go and calibrated, so don't swap until completely ready.

The gm 3bar will not bolt to a stock throttle body.... it didn't bolt to anything on gm cars either so its not a defect, you need to block the stock map off, or bolt the stock map in and don't plug it up..
You need to run a vacuum line to the sensor off the intake manifold and you'll need the gm pigtail to splice into the OEM harness since the stock map plug won't work
