Engine is choppy or is missing at low rpms
So I've searched and just can't find a definitive answer. I just swapped a b16 into a 89 crx si, I pulled it out of my other wrecked crx in which it ran absolutely perfect. Now it fires up first try every time but when I drove it it was really choppy/missing at lower rpms. Like idle to 2200 or so, then, after that it pulls just fine. My old crx had a stock fuel pump and the new was has something after market, not sure what it is but it sounds pretty burly, like at least a walbro 255 or something. The car used to be boosted according to the previous owner. I was wondering if its required to run an after market fuel pressure regulator with a bigger fuel pump. Also it has a golden eagle fuel rail.
Thanks for any help
Thanks for any help
Well the thing is it ran perfect in my other crx and that was barely a month ago. Pulled it out it sat for a couple weeks, properly covered up and stored. Then swapped back into new car. So I don't think new wires or plugs are necessary.

Adjust the tps. Move it the direction to simulate the throttle opening. What's happening is the ecu sees a closed throttle so it kills the injectors till the engine comes down to idle rpm, then it squirts fuel again, rpm rises and it cuts fuel thinking you are decelerating. If you (I call it) advance the tps, then the ecu sees that the throttle is open and doesn't cut fuel.
