Started building a fuel cell for my car. According to my math, I will be a little over 2 gallons of capacity, not including the sump (that number is conservative). Magnafuel 4303 pump. I know that you can't run a fuel cell near empty because the pump will cavitate, so I want to make sure that 2+ gallons will be enough to make a few passes before needing to be topped off.
Fuel of choice will be E98, or maybe FTW if my pockets find a way to get deeper. Trying to keep weight in the back down as much as possible.

Heh, this car will never pass SFWD rules, nor would I ever be competitive. I'm just building the car to have fun. More curious to know if I will run into fuel draw issues than anything else.
Nah. You'll be fine. I'd recommend, that whatever you do, you have the fuel pump feed port low and facing the rear of the car so that during accel you don't lose pressure/flow.
Also be careful where the fuel cell is located. If located outside the framerails a 1.5" "dont quote me om the size of the bar" halo must surround it to protect it in a crash
