Later tonight i will have videos of the engine running, driving, acceleration etc.... pictures and i will also have compression test numbers as i know some will ask

Bump. Been in this car lots of times and can vouch the motor runs very strong and pulls hard..

Im new to the B16 game but is the LS Vtec better then the B16 boosted though? Please let me know because i am tryin to do many great things to my 2000 SI

It is personal preference to be honest. Personally I would rather have a ls vtec over a b16 any day. Displacement is always better. All motor or boost. Not to be biased but i would suggest boosting this motor over a b16. The type r cams along with the intake manifold would be great for boost.

speaking of....if any one is trying to go boost this setup would be great. Forged rods and pistons and your g2g

i thought all king built motors come with a serialized plaque where the engine code is??

They do. Mike assembled the short block himself. I installed the cylinder head, cams, intake manifold etc. It wasn't built top to bott by King. As a result didn't get the plaque. Mike will tell you the history on this motor.
