Default b16 or ls

I am in the process or turbo charging my car right now, i got a b16 gsr cams and low compression pistons and rods i think they are JE and i am getting a ls motor and i am getting ready to put in the motor this weekend so my question is which can make more power and is more reliabe?

thanks more or less what i was looking for but now i got another question, is a stock ls good for boost? i heard the ls has low compression.

Either motor can be tuned safely. The amount of "boost" they can handle is somewhat irrelevant, more about HP they can handle.

Search for "LS Setups" under recent. There is a HUGE thread filled with happy LS-T users. Both are good motors, if you already have the B16 built internally then maybe go with that. Either motor will put a smile on your face and will last if tuned properly (dyno / street tune etc.). Search the archives and read more/

More about chamber temps, how you're dealing with thermal load, and whether or not you detonate.
