Default 00 Civic EX - having trouble reading CEL code

Hi, I drive a 2000 Civic EX and I've had a check engine light come on, having trouble reading the code.

When I jump the ecu and turn the key on, the light comes on for a second, then blinks once and stays on, the code does not repeat.

I don't know if this is one long blink with a short blink, and there's no code for 11.

So, I'm assuming it must be a 1 or a 10.

A 1 would be one of the o2 sensors and I'm running an ebay catback exhaust that's been installed for 5 months now.

A 10 would be IAT, and I have an AEM intake installed 5 months ago.

HOWEVER, the CEL came on only after I detailed under the hood so I assumed it was just wet because when I d/c the negative battery terminal, it stays off for a day then it comes back on and I washed it over a month ago. I thought it might just have been a wet distributor but it's been over a month now.

Any ideas?

your o2 sensor has nothing to do with the catback your running considering o2 sensors located pre-cat

A 10 would be IAT, and I have an AEM intake installed 5 months ago.
Intake Air Temperature sensor has nothing to do with running a different intake
When you went crazy with water under the hood what if anything did you cover?

I've been detailing every vehicle I've owned under the hood for years as well as others, coated everything with armorall, never covered anything and the CEL has always turned itself off after a few days but for some reason this one won't and that's the only code I'm getting.

I know after I started I read something about covering up the distributor and the alternator but I'd already been doing it for years with no trouble so I ignored it.

The car's running just fine but I'd rather get that CEL clear and when I d/c the negative, it does go away for a day or two then comes back. This is the third time I've detailed it under the hood.

Ok...so if I'm getting 10 then it might be that I got the IAT sensor a little wet? Can't figure out why it would turn off for a day or 2 then come back on.

If you reset the ECU, does the CEL stay on while driving or when the key is turned from off to ON(II)?

When I reset the ECU, the CEL turns off and stays off for up to 2 days before coming on again. It's my daily driver and only car for now.

Post a video of the CEL before and after you jump the service connector.
