randomly leans out at light throttle
ok so i have a 93 civic with a built b16 turbo tuned on crome pro. runs great but randomly at light throttle it will lean way out and obviously not wanna go anywhere till i give it more gas then its fine again. air fuels are fine everywhere else all the way till 8500 rpm's at 20 psi. So i hooked my tuning stuff up and was watching the air fuels and looking at the map. finally i got it to do it so i added more fuel and it seemed ok again. then later that night it started doing it again and when it wasnt doing it it was a lil rich cuz i had added fuel there.
i changed the cap, rotor and plugs. still does it. changed and adjusted the tps and it still does it. wtf is going on. it seems like it started doing it after i hooked mt aem wideband up as the o2 sensor. in the settings of crome i switched it over to the aem widband. ive done this on other cars and didnt have a problem so i don't know whats going on. does anyone have any ideas of what this could b because its really annoying when im trying to stay at a steady speed. either i have to give it more gas so it doesnt do it but then i end up speeding or i have to let off n hit the gas again.

Hm. Although you're in the wrong forum I'll take a stab at this.
Worked fine BEFORE the AEM as the O2. Does not work so well AFTER the AEM as the O2. Lemme guess. The AEM is your problem.

I took it as it was leaning out passed what the gauge could read. If its just happening randomly and not every time your at the same load and rpm, maybe your sensor is going bad.
ok it just droppes off the scales lean when it happens. the aem sensor reads fine thats not the problem. when it does this it stumbles and acts like i turned the key off but kept on the gas. then when i give it more gas the air fuels go back to normal and it runs fine. and like i said ive ran aem widebands as o2 sensors in tons of other cars and it didnt do this. its in open loop so that it can read the sensor as a o2. when i tune it i put it in closed loop but the whole point in having it enabled and running as a o2 senso is so it can calculate for different temps n humidity's. has anyone had this problem?

leave the setting in open loop.
make sure the numbers dont jump. try to make the adjustments gradual as possible.
do not target to make 14.7 in every cell. most cell is fine as long as the fuel curve is not a mess.
make sure ign curve is not messed up too.
check you fuel multipliers againts ect/iat/batt/vss/tps/etc
