No blow off valve, but it needs positive pressure, above the ambient 14.7psi standard to activate. Under normal conditions, low revving will not open it, because the turbocharger will have no load of it, thereby not having an effect on the blow off valve. However, if you rev the **** out of it in idle, it will blow off because you'll get a little load on it.

Vacuum opens my bov.

At idle the valve is open. Moving the throttle closes it.

if the valve shuts while you're on the gas, and it doesn't boost, can there be a leak in the BOV? its just a stupid question on the top of my head....I dunno..

No matter how much I turn up/down the boost, it always stays at 7psi. Could be be because the boost controller is messed up? It's a manual boost controller so I blew air in one side, and adjusted it, and it got tighter or more loose (depending on which way I turn it) but it never sees more than 7 lbs of boost..what can be wrong wiht mines? I'm running it without the MBC right now..but I would like to know why it isnt boosting anymore than 7 when I turn it up...

Thanks 14eight for the compliments.

To answer the last question....

How is it plumbed?

Should go compressor nipple->MBC->side of wastegate.
