LSv Turbo - No oil on dipstick
no oil on dipstick after driving home from tune on my turbo ls vtec. figured it was low and did an oil change. about 4 quarts or more was drained and i put in about 4.2 quarts back in but it still shows nothing on my dipstick. do all my oil lines for turbo and lsvtec factor into that much more oil i need to pour in? i dont want to overfill it.
When are you checking the oil? If you check the oil right after the car is running or right after you poured the oil in the car doesn't allow the oil to drain all the way to the pan. Check it in a few hours after not running the car?

checked twice with 2 different dipsticks it is a b series dipstick. the motor was assembled by someone else, maybe the dip stick tube needs to be fixed. is it possible to fix it without pulling my turbo setup (manifold, downpipe, wastegate) ?
Just look down at the tube. If the little ring around it isn't fully seated to the block then you know it's not all the way in. I couldn't get mine to go all the way in on my c
Block for whatever reason but I know that the low oil mark on my dip stick is actually reading full

OP do an oil change and mesure the amount you put in in spec with your engine
i have a turbo Ls/V and i put in damn near 4-3/4 quarts to bring it up to full. if you know for a fact that the dipstick tube is in correctly and you do not have an over size pan , that should do it. depending how long your oil line is and the oil feed for the head, they COULD hold up to 1/4 of a quart.
is the car running or is the car off when you check it.
i know to some it may be a stupid question but my freind who thinks he knows all about cars had a turbo teggy and would always tell me the car was burning oil and ate through 4 qts again. one time when he called me complaining i just jokingly said the car is off right. and he was like no the car is on.
i was like wtf is this real life

Ok, stupid question... lol
But are you checking to see if the dipstick is wet? Cause i've done that before wondering why there wasn't any oil and it was just really clear.

i had a customer car come in, he said a similar thing. that even after a oil change nothing on his dip... i pulled it out and sure enough nothing on it, also the dipstick was broken off and was short about an inch....
