Default Turbo d series question

Ok, I turboed my ef. But i wanted to ask if it is true that oil return lines have pressure behind them as well as the oil feed? Reason being that i hope there is, is because my return line is just a tad bit too long, so the oil must travel down, slightly up, and then into the pan. Will this cause oil to backup into the turbo forcing the oil to push thru the seals? Any positive feedback is greatly apreciated.

Should be a straight shot, the oil should not have to go up before the oil pan...just shorten it, not hard to do.

I did shorten it, but the way my turbo manifold is, the drain fitting on the turbo is about 1 1/2 inches above the fitting on the oil pan. so there is no way to make it just come from the turbo to the oil pan, because the fitting on the oil pan is about 2 inches to the left of the turbo fitting. So i shortened it, as much as i could, but there is still a slight incline the oil must travel. Is this going to be safe or will the oil backup into the turbo? thanks a bunch fellas.

As long as the turbo fitting is above the oil pan, you should be able to make it drain on a downward angle

The return isnt pressurized, and if your making oil go uphill you may be looking at serious turbo trouble

you are gonna blow seals. are you using an HF manifold?

no, ive got a ram horn turbo mani, and yea blowin seals is what im affraid of. I just got done foolin with it. I think its gonna be ok, it looks pretty level.
