what does it mean when i turn my steering wheel, then let go, and it doesnt center itself? do i need a new steering rack and pinion?

 

Get under the car and check it. The tie rods too while you're at it. Wait. I forget. You're the person that asks for help but doesn't take advice.

That's really vague. While the car is moving? Not moving? Doesn't center 100% or just 80%?

 

damn i dont know how grumble always does it, but you just got owned! but seriously, if you havent been able to fix it a year later on your own, then it might be time to take it to a professional

 

check your ball joints one is probably seized + try searching i posted almost the same thing a year ago and fixed mine.

yes while the car is moving.. this isnt normal right? i got an alignment.. and all the bushings are good

 

It's probably cause your car is lowered and your power steering sucks...

 

so i guess it is normal then lol cuz my power steering does kinda suck

Heh, that was a while ago, I updated my mileage, upper ball joints still going strong.

 

caster is what causes the steering wheel to "auto-center"
if your suspension is modified you may have affected the caster.
personally i max out the caster in all my cars.
i DO NOT own a Honda so, i don't really know if you can even adjust caster.
just saying.. leave me alone

try adding the lucas oil power steering fix. for $10 it could fix your problem, if not its only $10

our best advise for u is ur not mechanically inclined so i advise u to take it to the dealer for an alignment. only help we can give u

 

i hav lucas in and i got an alignment could it be a bad power steering pump? or a bad steering rack? it kinda feels like i dont have power steering anymore
