It's going to be hard to get a good answer, because the description is so vague. Personally I would Jack up the front end and check the steering components

Sounds like steering rack is adjusted too tight.

Well caster is what helps the steering back to straight, so go and have your car aligned to get the specs.

jack the front of the car up and have a friend turn the wheel side to side while you look underneath. Listen for any clunks, odd sounds, creaks etc...

grab the wheels and shake them, then turn the steering full lock to lock by holding the wheel itself, not the steering wheel.

if nothing looks out of place, get an alignment done by a shop.

and check the obvious, power steering fluid.

Correct. Either the caster is way off or someone has adjusted the tension on the steering rack too tight.

WHY?

Your post has been answered. Either your rack is too tight, which I doubt, or your caster is not set correctly, which is more likely. Thats it. End of post.

In fact, since your wheel returns correctly on left turns, you KNOW the rack isn't too tight. Its the caster on the right side. PERIOD.
