Lsvtec dies when hits boost
I got my car tuned this week, my tuner tells me that now as soon as i hit 1.3psi the motor just dies, like as if you shut off the key. Heres some info on it, lsvtec b18b1 bottom b16a top end, has a 60-1 , block guard arp head studs rod bolts, golden eagle intake gasket and lsvtec kit, and skunk 2 intake manifold. Its on 10 pounds, He swaped out map sensors, tps, retimed it, and i forgot what else he tried, but i think it might need 1 or 2 bar map, he doesnt anyway i was hopeing that i could get some
Ideas from you guys.

No hes used a stock one, thats why i think we should try a 1 or 2 or 2.5 bar just to see if it works, i dont know how a stock one should Act on 10psi
stock should be fine for 10 psi as far as i remember stock reads like 11.7 or something like that
what are the afr's when it starts hitting boost, is there a wideband o2 hooked up to the car? is it hitting boost cut? could be running too lean could be running too rich could be anything we need more info

He said when it does it that it leans out, there is a wide band on it, im not sure of afrs, but the turbo wants to spool but if it does the motor just shuts down
we need more info on the setup. what size injectors, whats it being tuned on, etc etc. i wouldnt suggest going into boost much if its going lean even on 2 psi. leaning the motor out is dangerous.

There dsm 450s, hes using chrome pro, we tryed using stock injectors, stock ecu hondata ecu, chipped p28, and they all do it, we turn the distributor boths ways, but it still died, it runs fine when its not in boost,
i use to have a lsv-t on 10psi and i did have a 3bar map. there like $50 on ebay i would get one. I had this happen to a frind of mine car and it ended up being a injector wire got "cut" somehow. It was like as soon as it started to spool the motor would shut off basilly like fuel cut.
You have resistors or a resistor box for those DSM 450s right??? Sounds to me like there is something in the wiring, ECU or tuning. Try using Hondata or Neptune they are way better than the $50 Crome chip. The stock MAP can see 10.68psi I think that is its limit, I dont think that is your problem. This is why I always drive the car NA for a while to break in the new motor and/or to make sure everything is running correctly, then I do the turbo. That way if something weird happens like this I know it is caused by something that just changed with the adding of the turbo.
^ If running a stock plug at a stock gap with boost it can blow out the spark basically. Need a 1-2 step colder plug a gapped as said above. Oh also copper NGK R plugs are what I like to use, copper conducts the heat away better that the iridium OE plugs do. I just change them out every 10-20k depending on how I have been driving and the quality of the fuel. Here in Arizona we only get 91 at the pumps and it can be poor quality at some gas stations.
i really appreciate all the suggestions, im going to pick it up today and try some things out, he said after i figure it out hes going to touch up the tune for free.
so first thing im going to do is try getting spark plugs for it, he told me to consider a new fuel pump(oh i forgot to mention it has a walbro 255) but i will keep updated. thanks
(also more post/suggestions are encouraged lol)

here is a dyno graph of my friends h22 built turbo on 14psi on a dynapack that i tuned this wasnt the finished graph i forgot to get a pic of that one but at 6500 the afrs dropped to 11.1 that was the dip in the graph
Full boost at 7200rpmish? Do you have a boost log on this? Powerband looks horrible.
here is some pics of the setup its long gone he sold it and got an sti
all the runs were 3rd gear with an h22 tranny i probably should have done 4th gear but it was on a dynapack so i figured it wouldnt matter

on the road it was a different story once you got into 4th gear it was full boost by 5k that turbo spooled up way late idk if its because of the 3 inch charge pipe all around and huge intercoler, long primaries on the turbo manifold idk but it spooled way late, and really nothing i did fixed it, but it was stupid fast thats all i remember i took a friend for a ride and he almost pissed himself lol
