So starting off i have 93 civic with a 95 b18b1 with a d series non v harness on it and a p75 obd1 ecu.. any way my problem is the car doesn't wanna start it will start when its completely cold but when it warms up a little bit that's the killer i put a brand new o2 sensor on brand new alt brand new dizzy. I also checked all of my grounds and everything also.. Has anybody on here had any problems with there B series swaps not starting? If so what was the fix?

ECT sensor could be defective or ECU/ECM not reading it properly.

When trying to to start, [when warm] does it fire at all?

Try pulling a spark plug after trying to start, [when warm] and see if there is fuel on the plug and if you are getting spark. 94

Once it starts, will it keep running until you turn it off?

When trying to start, [when warm] will the engine fire at all, [sound like it may start?

If so, i would check the ECT sensor for proper operation, if it is not working it would indicate a cold engine, [even though it is warm] and air/fuel would be rich, [flooding] cylinders.

How is the gas mileage?
If your running rich your gas mileage would SUCK. 94

well the car isnt really driving i just finished the swap and i cnt really drive it becuase of this problem. and the engine doesnt fire at all (when hot) it just keeps turning and turning until you let go of the key. and my car isnt running to rich because when the car is actually on it has a nice little idle.. and yes it will stay on when i turn the key on it just wont come back on once i turn it off lol

start with the first problem, not the second problem which is a temp fix.. replace sensor, and check wirring

was it the ECT sensor? theres only 2 sensors, 1 a single wire for gauge cluster, 2 a 2 wire ECT sensor for ecu. its either sensor or ecu

There is the ECT switch, it controls the rad fan, and the ECT senor it supplies ECU/ECM with engine temp. and the temp. gauge.94
