Default NO INJECTOR PULSE

Okay let’s start with it’s a k24a2/k20a2 fully built turbo. Tucked engine harness, kpro v4 and the whole setup worked in a 96 ek coupe perfect. I then switched it all over to a 1992 eg hatch that I then bought the tucked chassis harness from WIREWHERE_MIA and then finished swapping it all from the 96 ek after I got everything swapped and hooked up etc no injector pulse, everything works as it should gauge wise and ground wise. The only thing different from the last swap is the tucked chassis harness. I’ve tested the ecu in another k swap it works fine still. Could it be the tucked chassis harness not causing injector pulse? The plugs get 12v the injectors are clean and matched

Good fuel pressure to the rail the same setup exactly from my last car just wanted to swap to a hatchback. Nothings changed from a perfect running 96 coupe k swap to this but the chassis harness, it’ll start on starting fluid. Paid 1700$ for it and no returns so not trying to pay 5-700$ more for someone to find the issue

Check your main relay. Grab noid light to verify the plug are pulsing when cranking. Verify good grounds and ecu connections. What EMS are you using?

No main relay, it’s a tucked CHASSIS HARNESS, I’ve checked it all with noid lights and all same issue . No injector pulse

The ignition switch does not traditionally pass power to the fuel pump or power the fuel injector circuit. The ignition switch powers a bank of relays that individually activate the previously mentioned circuits. This bank of relays is packaged as 'the' main relay. Without some kind of relays for those circuits, those items shouldn't work, behavior you are seeing.

The injectors are ground-switched, aka the ECU grounds them out to activate/open the injector valve. With key on engine off, you should see 12v at one of the 2 pins at any injector.

My guess is you need some relays in there.

Yes the injectors get 12v power, just no pulse from the computer. The whole setup was running in a 96ek then I swap the engine and engine harness only to my 92 hatch and bought this CHASSIS HARNESS, yes it’s got some relays just not a lot. What else could I check

The ECU needs to see the crank angle sensor on cranking to fire spark.

Make sure ecu can see crank angle sensor. I didnt mention that because its not chassis harness... But thats needed.

Is the fuel pump kicking on?

Yes all of it works but the injector pulse, my tuner was watching it all while I was trying to start it. It gets spark and all just no injector pulse. The fuel rail gets amazing pressure 50-60, injector plugs get 12v just zero pulse to activate the injectors. All the dead times and stuff is setup correctly so idk

I feel like my tuner would have said something about it tbh, I’ll double check it tomorrow and buy another but it would throw a code wouldn’t it? I have zero codes cranks amazing sparks hood and strong just no pulse

Like mentioned above need to look for the ckp signal.
Next would be pulse wires from ECU to injector continuity.

Running a 99 just installed a tucked harness and I think I’m seeing the same thing.

Only Fuel Injector Pulse that’s changing is 1 none of the others change.

Did this ever get resolved?
