srp pistons any good??
boosting 10 psi with a t3 on a b16a3,i have a chance to get a set really cheap with wrist pins, are they good,i know they are not as good as je but whats the word on them?
Higher silicone content... less expansion. They are quite, with little piston slap and can only take about 80-100 whp more than stock.
They are the bargin, import performance piston from JE, not made from the same aluminum, they don't expend heat as quickly as JE's as they are more dense. They are ok for all motor, but not the best for boosted motors. If you're going boost, go JE and avoid any problems.

At only 10 psi you can use stock pistons without a problem. I personally have seen a max of 450 hp on SRP pistons. I was surprised, maybe he just got a good set.

I almost bought a set for my G/Fs high CR GSR, but had to go with a custom bore, which meant the cost of an SRP would be the same as a JE.... so we went JE...or course
would $160 be a good price for a set with wrist pins, they are for a 1.8 witha 9:1 ratio,i have a b16,what kind of ratio would i get,and would it be worth doing?i think 8:1,is that too low, thanx.
Whoever you are stealing these from.... give me their addresss and ph # !!! Brand new or what ? Sound like a REALLY used price..
But a good deal nonetheless...
