Higher silicone content... less expansion. They are quite, with little piston slap and can only take about 80-100 whp more than stock.

They are the bargin, import performance piston from JE, not made from the same aluminum, they don't expend heat as quickly as JE's as they are more dense. They are ok for all motor, but not the best for boosted motors. If you're going boost, go JE and avoid any problems.

At only 10 psi you can use stock pistons without a problem. I personally have seen a max of 450 hp on SRP pistons. I was surprised, maybe he just got a good set.

Nooo... sorry didn't mean to sound negative on the SRPs, but they can hold power fine, they just cannot withstand as much heat/power as the JEs and other pistons. They are stronger than stock and are still forged... which is good !

I almost bought a set for my G/Fs high CR GSR, but had to go with a custom bore, which meant the cost of an SRP would be the same as a JE.... so we went JE...or course
